We are a family owned Nigerian Restaurant in the heart Fallowfield with its roots from Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
We chose HQ because we want to become the Head Quarters for all things Nigeria and we have decided to begin this great journey with Nigerian Food.
If you haven’t already tried Nigerian food, H.Q is the perfect place to begin your education. From Suya (which comes as grilled beef or lamb or Assorted cow meats, hailing from the Northern part of Nigeria, super-silky Pounded Yam and Egusi Soup from the South Eastern part of Nigeria, Boli (Roasted Plantain) which comes with a Sweet pepper sauce that’s so fire you could drink it by the jugful, hailing the South West of Nigeria and the Nigerian version of Spring Rolls which could be either Chicken, Beef or Vege, we bring Nigerian food, her culture and atmosphere to your door step.
For those wary of spice, We can tailor your dishes to be from mild spicy, medium hot and spicy to extra hot and spicy. For Nigerian Food, its all about flavours and there are so many other elements that dance in this flavour profile than a flat, one-tone scorching heat. The chilli kicks you in the face, but you’re then rewarded with moreish savoury taste and a building sweetness that rounds this unreal experience off.
